Three Theories in the Clinical Setting
A 15-page paper presenting a patient case followed by application of three nursing theories to that single case. The nursing theories examined are Roy’s Adaptation Model, Neuman’s System Model and Orem’s Theory of Self-Care. Bibliography lists 15 sources.

- Develop a project within a practice setting that allows you to develop these leadership skills. You will identify a problem area in a practice setting that you specifically want to address (e.g., practice, policy, population, education) that aligns with organizational priorities
- Stakeholder support is necessary for a successful change proposal project implementation. Consider your internal stakeholders, such as the facility, unit or health care setting where the change process is situated, and your external stakeholders, like an individual or group outside the health care setting. Why is their support necessary to the success of your project, and how you will go about securing that support?
- How can the QSEN competencies for nurses be implemented into your workplace or professional nursing setting? If you are not currently employed as a nurse, consider a previous work setting that would have benefited from implementation of the QSEN competencies
- Clinical Research and EBP You will identify if clinical research is the same as EBP or consider the obstacles to nursing research in a clinical environment
