NUR7580 Advanced Health Assessment and Differential Diagnosis Head-to-Toe Comprehensive Exam Video
Student is required to have a non-pregnant volunteer 18-years or older to act as their “patient” for a recorded video showcasing proficiency in performing select health assessment techniques. The volunteer must sign the Video Release Form found in the course. Additionally, the student should acquire and properly use the necessary equipment for the assessment. The student must verbalize the assessment technique and exam findings. The faculty must be able to clearly see, hear, and evaluate the examination. The techniques must be performed from memory without the use of notes or supplemental materials during recording. The video head-to-toe exam should be completed within 25 minutes, and any content beyond this time frame will not be considered for grading. To pass this assignment, students must score >75%.
