Ideal Americans therefore, permit no form of evil to come in between them and their works of kindness. To some extent at least they learn to appreciate life and give meaning to it where it is lost.Lastly, an ideal American is called to remain honest even at adversity.
The best role model of honesty is sir Jonathan Edwards, who with the fear of nothing or no one boldly told the people, especially Christians, the truth so far as their sins and immorality were brought to light. Ideal Americans are disciplined to remain honest to things that directly touch their lives or the lives of other people so that with time they will appreciate despite earlier rejections or refusal for corrections. Honesty can also be demonstrated by the act of remaining truthful knowing that honesty never lies or cheats. In addition, ideal Americans know that honesty won’t make them prosperous nor celebrated, but earned them great respect from their beloved ones.
