Annotated Bibliography of Technology in Nursing
A well-prepared annotated bibliography documents a comprehensive commentary about the content of research articles and other sources of evidence. The purpose of this annotated bibliography is to identify and describe peer-reviewed published research that promotes the use of technology and/or telecommunications in nursing.
Conduct a search using the various electronic databases available.
Select studies published during the past five years.
Select four peer-reviewed, research based articles focused on the single topic that are not assigned as part of this course’s studies. These studies may be qualitative, quantitative, or outcomes-based. Note: The articles should not be a meta analysis or systematic review.
Provide a Title Page and Reference Page following APA style.

Identifies professional sources of information to support the integration of technology and telecommunications in professional nursing practice providing supportive rationale and explanation of processes in selecting sources.
Explains the significance of selected technologies and/or telecommunications in relation to professional nursing and health care including the context and future application.
Organize the literature matrix to reflect all identified criteria for evaluation using studies from varied research methodologies and technologies.
Writes clearly and logically, with correct use of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and mechanics, with no errors, and formats citations correctly using APA style, and all information is accurate and up-to-date.
