Compare and contrast the differences between various types of budgets: capital budget, operations budget, zero-based budgeting, and conventional budgeting. Look beyond the definitions to how and why each type of budget might be choice for an organization.
Explain your experience with any of the various types of budgets. If you don\'t have experience make a determination about which one may be the most challenging to manage and explain why. You might find it helpful to read a journal article about one of the types of budgets. Most of the folks in the class have some experience in scheduling which often falls into operations.
