Roy’s Adaptation Model in Clinical Use
An 8 page paper discussing the Roy model and then applying it to a clinical case. Roy’s Adaptation Model places the patient at the center of attention and addresses methods by which nurses can most effectively care for, instruct, educate, comfort and offer explanations to their patients. Sr. Roy is credited with bringing new enlightenment to nursing, and her model of nursing is highly valued.
