Compassion Fatigue in Long Term Care
• Your impressions of how the presentation was received by the site
Presentation went well. It was a mandatory Saturday Staff Meeting. Staff appeared engaged and seemed to appreciate the presentation.
• Stakeholder feedback regarding the implications of the project for them
The staff appreciated the facility’s effort to staff the facility to help ease the burden of their compassion fatigue. The staff recruiter which was part of the project reiterated her role and the new policy for sick calls was also handed out to staff. The time limit for the travelers which were employed/used to help staff the facility. The recruitment and ETA for new permanent staff was also shared with the staff. 1 RN, 2 LVN and 1 CNA
• An explanation of the role you played (if any) in the implementation of the project
I did not have a hands-on role since I am not an employee. I did sit in on meetings and was able to give feedback and suggestions for the DON and administrative staff. I helped to create the staffing model with staff and sat in on several interviews.

No questions were asked with my presentation due to time limit constraints.
