Patient Satisfaction Quality Improvement Project: Change Model
Select a patient satisfaction quality improvement opportunity based on your organization\'s data, metrics, and HCAHPS scores.
Create a 7- to 10-slide presentation in which you will:
Write one or two SMART objectives for your selected quality improvement initiative.
Analyze the issues and concerns about the improvement and why you feel change is necessary.
Research change models and theories (e.g., PDCA, ADPIE, Lewin, Orem, and Deming) and choose one that will be helpful in creating a plan to implement the change -- or create your own change theory with a model.
Using your chosen model, evaluate possible strategies for bringing about the necessary change.
Create a communication strategy to inspire leadership and staff in order to gain their support for the change.
Cite and reference all sources.
