Nursing Theorist Scholarly Paper

Nursing Theorist Scholarly Paper

This purpose of this assignment is for students to gain greater insight into the way nursing theory contributes towards the development of nursing practice. Students will choose a theory which can serve as a foundation for contemporary nursing practice in their current work setting. Nursing theory is the foundation of nursing practice and it is hoped that students will develop a newfound passion for Nursing after taking this course. Our current health care systems are rapidly changing faster than we as nurses can adapt. This calls for the development of new models of care to meet the demands of the future. The legacy created by our nursing theorists as they sought to identify key nursing concepts was to clearly define our practice.
