Nursing Interventions for Medication Compliance for Children with HIV/AIDS
This 8 page report discusses the fact that during the past several years, in addition to infants and young children with early disease manifestations (some of whom are surviving longer), an increasing number of older children and adolescents have been identified with late-onset perinatally acquired HIV infection. Caring for such children is often directly related to how well they are able to comply with their medication regimen. This report looks at several considerations regarding nursing interventions related to medication compliance for children and adolescents with HIV/AIDS. Bibliography lists 9 sources.
