Nursing: discuss the need to balance management priorities against outcome for service users when planning and managing resources
To discuss question, consider the following; (1)An understanding of the concepts of resource planning, (2)Reference the environment in which health and social care operates, the importance of effective planning that takes into consideration; what we are trying to do, how we are going to do it and what we will need in order to achieve it. (3)The need for a systematic process of business planning for examining an organisation and its environment in order to best allocate resources to meet service demand in the most appropriate way. (4)The importance of the third sector or voluntary/community sector. (5)Effective resource management and good budgeting skills.
