***Assignment

  1. After reading the text. Describe the virulence of the disease you chose from in previous weeks assignment.  DESCRIBE THE VIRULENCE OF HIV (You can start defining/explaining what is virulence and then describing all the virulence of HIV)

*Virulence - the ability of a virus to cause disease in the infected host animal.

* The disease-evoking power of a pathogen is called Virulence (Introduction to Epidemiology by Merrill 2017).

**All responses should be scholarly written, APA formatted, and referenced.  A minimum of 2 references are required (other than your text). 

  1. I’m attaching some article, but I’m not sure if they describe well the virulence of HIV. You may need to find other scholarly resources that answer well the question of the assignment. And you can take what you need from the articles and include reference.
  2. Please remember all References MUST be scholarly journal articles, peer reviewed (Nothing from conferences, other text books online, goggle, .com). Please include DOI numbers on the reference page (It’s required in APA). You can also use goverment websites such as the CDC
