EBP Capstone- hospital readiness
You can technically create an example organization or hospital. However, just for the record , I work at a Texas state forensic psychiatric hospital. I have already had experience with trying to implement and gather information for a nursing project recently using email survey to all nursing staff. I am not sure this is what is expected with this assignment? I’m not sure what tool they are asking about. My organizations readiness nurses wanting improvements and change , but not following up with input, not communicating to upper management, possible legal issues, time and funds. This is going to be the beginning of my Capstone project. It looks like it is to be a multiple part assignment with the final Capstone paper with all sections brought together.
My thoughts on Capstone ideas/ Evidence based practice are….
Something with leadership/ staffing issues, Effects of gossip, bullying and workplace violence in the healthcare setting.
Staffing and retention
I am also open to your suggestions, if you already have researched and gotten other ideas at hand.
