Instruction Review Website Drugs and their Social and Pharmacological Ramifications Week 2 Assignment: Outline the Physical Effects of Drugs to Help in Preventative Efforts Activity Description Develop a presentation that addresses the effects and properties of each major substance of abuse and the effects on human beings.Design your presentation so that it could be used in a school setting for 4th through 8th grade students.Make sure to include: A listing of frequently abused substances A comparison of the properties/effects of hallucinogens, stimulants, and narcotics and the effects they have on the body A description of the drug to include the “pleasurable” properties A description of the negative effects and symptoms on the body (both seen and unseen) Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as “speaker notes” for each slide.
