In life, there are a number of things which we regard highly. These things differ from person to person which is to mean that what one may find important may not necessarily be the same case for another individual. However, in my opinion, to live a more fulfilling life, you need at least three things which include but are not in any way limited to a job, a loving family and lastly, a clear conscience.
These three which are interrelated in one way or the other are so important that the absence of one may significantly affect the quality of an individual’s life. For instance, when it comes to a job, it avails the resources to pursue other basic needs in life. Though the sole purpose of a job is not limited in any way to the mobilization of resources, it gives one a feeling of security as there is an assurance of a fixed pay slip at the end of the month.
Hence in more than one ways, a job gives one a certain degree of emotional wellbeing. When it comes to a loving family, there is nothing better than a good day at work followed by a nice evening surrounded by a caring and warm family. A loving family gives one a sense of belonging and a feeling of being loved. This contributes towards the individual well being of a person.
Last but not least, there is a clear conscience. If there is anything that can contribute to an individual’s mental serenity and contentment, it is a clear conscience. In my own opinion, conscience is like a suit. When in a dirty suit, you never really fill comfortable. However, when clad in a sparkling suit, one is content and this adds to a filling of comfort and contentment. This is the same thing when it comes to conscience. Hence the importance of a job, a loving family and a clear conscience cannot be overstated.
