No sources needed.
develop a nursing program curriculum. decide on the type of prelicensure program (ADN, BSN, or ABSN), discuss the mission and program philosophy, and follow the agenda listed below. The curriculum will be grounded in the philosophical concepts and the concepts will need to be evident in the student learning outcomes and courses developed for the project.
1. Write mission & philosophy
2. Write student learning outcomes based on philosophy.
3. Develop nursing courses with course descriptions. write the course objectives.
4. Develop the curriculum map (this will be done last and will show any gaps – by this I mean that all philosophy concepts are represented in the SLOs and courses).
2. Develop a template for syllabus using course name, course description, credit hours, etc. from the previous project. Decide on textbooks for your course.
4. Write a paragraph about teaching strategies to be used in the course and locate evidence-based research to support at least one strategy.
5. Develop learning activities with detailed instructions. Include evaluation methods and % of the grade for each.
