An 8-page research paper that applies the ‘whole image’ approach to negotiating conflict to the healthcare industry. Today, health care in this country faces a number of difficulties that necessitates health professionals becoming involved in intense negotiation processes in order to reach satisfactory conclusions. However, health professional training has not traditionally encompassed negotiation skills. Nevertheless, as this discussion will illustrate, negotiation skills can be crucial in handling the problems currently facing the healthcare industry in the US. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
