Instructions:
This assignment is designed for students to draw parallels between the history of advanced practice nursing and current events impacting advanced practice nursing.
As advanced practice nurses it is important to be up to date on current events and issues impacting your current or future role. This assignment is intended to encourage this process by asking you to read a newspaper or magazine article (professional or otherwise) and write a 1-2 page (maximum text) response analyzing the implications of the article for your future role. Students are encouraged to draw parallels from advanced practice nursing history to the current event. A copy of the article (or valid link to the article) should be included in the submission. It is not necessary to completely summarize the article since you will be providing the article for the instructor to view.
Format:
Masters prepared nurses must be comfortable with APA format. All assignments submitted in this course should follow APA format including, but not limited to, double-spacing, cover page and reference page (not counted toward the maximum of 2 pages of text).
