My groups is doing a research paper on our decided topic of Q2h turning vs Q4h turning for a bedbound patient to prevent pressure ulcers. For this first assignment we need to pick a nursing theorist and relate the theorist to our PICO question which is, In bed bound patients does q4 turning adequately prevent pressure injuries compared to the standard q2 turning? Her theory is all about caring and I like what she stands for, but am having difficulty tying the two together. The rubric directions are to (1)PICO question presented, strongly reflective of theory,
(2)accurately & completely address all key critical aspects of theory chosen, (3) Apply nursing theory to demonstrate in-depth understanding of key concepts of the theory.
