Legal regulation paper -HIPPA
This assignment is designed to familiarize students with relevant labor laws and legal regulations impacting human resource management in healthcare via a critical analysis.
• The labor law/regulation selected may be a federal or state law. I chose Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
• Students will also develop a creative paper about their chosen topic and present it to the class.
• Include at least 8 references from peer reviewed journals to support your analysis and critique.
Grading Rubric: Legal Regulation Impacting Human Resources Paper and Presentation
Criteria:
• Description of law/act - HIPPA Law
• History of law including issues that lead to passage of act
• Examination of labor law/regulation and its impact of law on health organizations
• APA/Reference List includes at least 8 peer reviewed references
