Information System use in my clinical setting
1. Assignment:Name and describe an information system you use in your clinical setting. Discuss how the information system enables you to apply healthcare informatics in providing increased quality of care to your patients.
PLEASE ADDRESS ALL THE QUESTIONS FOR THE ASSIGNMENT AS SPECIFIED ABOVE.
2. Type of setting I work: I work in primary care, in a family practice treating the whole family (children and adults). I treat acute and chronic health conditions (DM, HTN, etc...)
3. The type of information system I use daily is:
CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION SYSTEMS/Electronic health records (EHR). I specifically use (eClinical Works). You can get some information online about eClinical works, but mainly discuss about EHR/EMR and answer the assignment questions.
4. The references MUST be scholarly journal articles (Not from conferences, other text books online, goggle, .com). On my last assignment you guys did, I had to research and get articles that matched your work because most of the references were not acceptable for grad school.
5. I am attaching the chapter from our textbook, this can be use as one reference (Informatics for health care professionals (Mastrian & McGonigle, 2017)
6. We need only 3 references from scholarly articles, and I\'m uploading the articles for you. Hope this helps! You can also use another article you have, but has to be schorlarly resources.
